Dr. Lauren Jeffery

Chief of Clinical Services ~ BSc DVM

Dr. Lauren Jeffery grew up in Delta, BC, and was involved in the local equestrian community from a young age. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology from the University of British Columbia, then graduated with great distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2015. After graduating, she completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery, gaining experience in both specialty and general equine practice. Dr. Jeffery’s professional interests are diverse and include reproduction, lameness, and internal medicine. She serves as Horizon Equine’s Chief of Clinical Services.

When not at work, Dr. Jeffery spends her time with her husband, who is also a veterinarian, and their young son. She is also a lifelong dressage enthusiast and enjoys training her homebred German Riding Pony mare, Bijoux.
